Job Description:

Ultranauts is looking to hire a full-time Senior Recruiter to join our team to lead Full Cycle Recruiting for experienced analysts, engineers and managers. The Senior Recruiters will also have the opportunity to play an active role in building out Ultranauts’ Talent Acquisition (TA) function to keep pace with our growing organization, including supporting senior management hires, guiding new members on the TA team, improving TA processes, and building Ultranauts’ employer brand.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead Full Cycle Recruitment for experienced Analysts, Engineers and Managers for Ultranauts’ Data Quality Engineering and Software Test Automation groups, including drafting job descriptions, designing assessments, developing sourcing strategies, conducting outreach, conducting interviews, and negotiating offers.
  • Strengthen Ultranauts’ employer brand among neurodivergent early career professionals and build a pipeline of qualified passive candidates by building external partnerships, engaging neurodivergent influencers, and leveraging Ultranauts team ambassadors
  • Support the Operations Leadership Group in sourcing qualified candidates for senior management positions
  • Improve TA processes in order to meet recruitment goals and Time to Fill & Quality of Hire targets, while maintaining a positive candidate experience and adhering to company policies/government regulations
  • Guide and mentor the Talent Associate, act as a player-coach for newly hired Recruiters, and help set the direction and priorities of the TA function to meet recruitment goals.

Requirements:

  • Direct experience with Full Cycle Recruitment for experienced technical hires including engineers (e.g. software engineers, data engineers, quality engineers), analysts (e.g. data analysts, systems analysts, business analysts) and project managers (e.g. engineering managers, product managers, quality managers)
  • Direct experience conducting outreach and building diverse candidate pipelines for technical roles, including sourcing neurodivergent talent
  • Proven track record of achieving Placement goals, while meeting/exceeding Time to Fill and Quality of Hire targets
  • In depth knowledge of objective assessment/selection methodologies, and inclusive hiring practices
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with hiring managers and other internal stakeholders, and engage their support throughout the recruiting process
  • Ability to work independently including determining priorities, meeting deadlines, articulating needs and escalating issues as needed.
  • Passion for improving processes, and ability to draw insights from analyzing historical data and conducting stakeholder interviews
  • Passion for coaching and developing talent, and ability to effectively manage team members with varying communication styles and technical skill levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment while maintaining a professional demeanor and cultivating a positive day-to-day work environment for the team
